Science Fact Checker

In researching for the Powering the Future exhibition, we found that different sources gave different numbers for the same thing. This is not unusual as data can be interpreted in different ways, and estimates can be made using different methods and/or baseline data. Definitions also matter with different sources sometime defining terms very differently.

As we've developed the content and the story the exhibition tells we've used the most recent figures we can and sought reliable and neutral sources so as to give the most accurate and representative account we can.

Our aim is to give our visitors access to unbiased information to support them to think about and contribute towards the ongoing debate around our future energy mix. If we have presented information inaccurately then please contact us directly.
