Glasgow Tower to reopen next summer

Glasgow Science Centre is delighted to announce that Glasgow Tower will reopen next summer. The revolutionary structure is the only building in the world capable of turning 360° and visitors will soon be able to enjoy the unrivalled panoramic views of the city and surrounds. Standing at 127 metres tall, Glasgow Tower is the tallest free standing building in Scotland and is a dominating feature of the city’s skyline.

Our Halloween Fright Night

Scotland’s biggest and best family Halloween party is back on Friday 1st of November at Glasgow Science Centre. There is no pass the parcel or pin the tail on the donkey at this party but there are plenty of treats and definitely some tricks in store. From wicked workshops and disgusting dissections to gruesome games and even critter crunching in the Bush Tucker Trial- party goers are in for a spooktacular evening.

University of Glasgow inducted to Dara O Briain’s science club

Comedian and scientist extraordinaire Dara O Briain hosted Glasgow Science Centre’s annual Question of Science Dinner and Quiz last night (Thursday 3rd of October) where nearly 350 people competed to become Question of Science champions!  After a well fought battle, University of Glasgow emerged as winners and lifted the coveted trophy.
