Smashing start to new exhibition

Scientists at Glasgow Science Centre have donned their hard hats and armed themselves with sledgehammers as they prepare for the opening of the new BodyWorks exhibition next year.  The 3rd Floor of the Science Mall will be transformed from Alice’s magical Wonderland to a unique and inspiring showcase of interactives and cutting edge research and innovation in the health and well-being sector.

Glasgow Science Centre on the hunt for Scottish Chefs of the Future

Ahead of celebrity chef, James Martin, coming to Glasgow Science Centre in March 2013 to host ‘A Taste of Science Dinner’ and serenade taste buds with a specially created four course menu, Glasgow Science Centre has launched ‘Young Chefs of the Future’ cookery competition for youngsters in Primaries 4 to 7.

Professor Robert Winston has the answer

Celebrity scientist Robert Winston hosted Glasgow Science Centre’s annual Question of Science Dinner and Quiz last night (Thursday 11th of October) where nearly 400 people competed to become Question of Science champions.  After a well fought battle, The BIG Partnership emerged as winners and were presented with the coveted trophy.
