Glasgow Science Centre has launched a new Corporate Events programme. Science of Whisky celebrates something deeply and intrinsically Scottish in a thoroughly modern, unconventional and different way. Guests will be able to enjoy interactive whisky stalls and informal whisky sessions ranging from delicate light and floral Highland malts with instant appeal to those first trying whisky, through to robust and passionate West Coast malts redolent of the islands and seas where they were crafted. During dinner, guests will also be able to learn about Whisky from a unique perspective, as well as tasting and exploring few drams for themselves.

GSC has the winning ingredients

Glasgow Science Centre has won the Best In House award at the Scottish Events Awards for their Taste of Science Gala Dinner and Chef of the Future competition. Judy Rae, Corporate Events Manager, collected the award with her team at the ceremony on Thursday evening  (6 September). ‘The Taste of Science Gala Dinner’ headlined the ‘Events By GSC’ series which was part of the Centre’s 10 year anniversary celebrations. The series were designed to showcase the five star service at Glasgow Science Centre and to engage with corporates, academia and consumers.

Go for cycling gold

We have all been cheering on Sir Chris Hoy and the rest of Team GB in the cycling events and visitors to Glasgow Science Centre can go for gold this weekend as part of ‘Gravity Games’. It’s all about going downhill fast, gravity defying stunts and fun science during the last weekend before the kids head back to school.
