Across our three floors there’s plenty of touch screens to tap, gears to grind and buttons to bash – from the mind-bending 'A Question of Perception' to the creative experiments of the 'Idea No.59' exhibition and the high-energy competitive challenges of 'BodyWorks'. 

Workshops

Super Satellites

Go into orbit and discover what makes something a satellite and how it stays in space, construct a model satellite and think about its important mission.

Huff and Puff

What is air and what do we use it for? Join us to explore the air all around us and make your own wind powered sail car.

Restart a Heart Day

Plus, on 16 October, Glasgow University Dental School will join us for ‘Restart a Heart’ day with CPR and defibrillator awareness training on Floor 1.

Rest in the Age of Digital Distraction: An introduction to sleep health

Then on 19 October, the University of Strathclyde will bring a series of sleep study activities, including a look at the effects of phone screens before bed.

Be blown away by the ‘Our Amazing Air’ science show! Using the coolest demonstrations, we explore the invisible gases that support life on this planet and how air quality can be improved.

Enjoy one of our live presenter-led star shows or full-dome animated films including 'The Great Solar System Adventure' and 'We Are Aliens'

IMAX

Take a giant leap into space with our brand-new IMAX 3D mini-blockbuster, ‘Space - The New Frontier,’ exploring the journey from the Moon landing to the next thrilling chapter in space exploration.

Or jump in the flow of an ocean current with a baby humpback whale in 'Ocean Odyssey 3D '

Newton Flight Academy

Home to Scotland’s only full-motion flight simulators, Newton Flight Academy offers you the chance to take off to a destination of your choice...without leaving the ground!

This (30-minute) experience allows up to two budding pilots to take control of a light aircraft under the reassuring guidance of our flight instructors.

*Newton Flight Academy tickets do not include day entry to Glasgow Science Centre. If you would like to visit before or after your flight simulator experience, please click "continue shopping" after adding the Flight Academy experience to your basket to add Day Tickets.
