Uncover the chemical reactions taking place around the home with Amy with the added bonus of making a scrumptious cake in a cup into the bargain! Learn what happens during a chemical reaction.
You will need a mug; plain flour; baking powder; sugar; 1 x egg; milk; sunflower oil; optional - cocoa powder, chocolate chips, vanilla essence; a microwave; and some adult permission and supervision.
Warning - the cup and cake will be hot after baking! Most suitable for ages 5 and over with adult help. View on YouTube.
N.B. This experiment uses milk, egg and your chosen flavourings. Although rare, in some people these foodstuffs may cause an allergic reaction.
