Home Educator Visits
Home Educators are welcome to visit Glasgow Science Centre at a discounted rate during weekdays in Glasgow term time only. Prices are:
- Children (3-16 yrs): £6.00
- Children (0-2 yrs): £0
- Supervising adult: Free (one per family)
- Additional adults: £6.00
All home educating visits must be booked and paid for at least 48 hours in advance using our booking form here.
Home Educating Groups
The above price includes access to the Science Mall exhibitions and one activity. Small groups visiting with children aged 3 and over are welcome to join visiting school groups in curriculum-linked, age-appropriate Planetarium shows, IMAX documentary films and live Science Shows. Full details of these activities can be found in school visits
Those visiting with children under 3 are welcome to attend family audience Planetarium shows taking place after 14.00, or an IMAX Documentary film. You can find out what's on on the days you are planning to visit in our What's On Guide.
Home Educating Families
The above price includes access to the Science Mall exhibitions and one activity. Families visiting are welcome to join visiting school groups in curriculum-linked, age-appropriate Planetarium shows, IMAX documentary films and live Science Shows provided everyone attending is aged 3 or over.
Those whose visiting family includes children under 3 are welcome to attend family audience Planetarium shows taking place after 14.00, or an IMAX Documentary film.

Science Passports
Some Home Educators prefer to take out our Science Passport giving unlimited access to the Science Mall throughout the year. The Passport, however, does not include access to any educational activities, shows or workshops. You can purchase a Science Passport online.
