GSC Car Park operating information
Parking at Glasgow Science Centre costs £3 a day for GSC visitors.
Other rates for people using the Glasgow Science Centre customer car park are shown below.
On arrival and departure, school coaches are invited to use our pick up and drop off area on the roadside in front of the main building for a maximum of 5 minutes. School coaches are required to use our nearby free coach parking outwith these times to avoid congestion (access code required).
Are there Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points?
Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points are available in the car park at Glasgow Science Centre.
The dual chargers, capable of charging six vehicles at a time, are enabled and controlled via the ScottishPower Recharge App. The charging rates are in line with ScottishPower’s UK charging model.

After 24 hours has elapsed, there is an automatic additional charge of £15. £15 is automatically added after each 24-hour period.
Non-science centre visitors car park prepayment instructions
Car park users attending evening events around the local area can prepay for parking in advance by following the instructions below:
- Scan ticket at pay station
- Select Pre-Paid ticket
- Select up to 9 hours by pressing the + hour button, to allow plenty of time to exit
- Select pay
- Follow payment instructions
- Go to exit barriers and scan ticket to exit
