Placemaking
Glasgow Science Centre aims to break down accessibility barriers by bringing inspirational science to our outside space while also making it easier for green and active travel and supporting biodiversity in the area.
Through consultation with local communities and stakeholders, we have researched responsible ways our outdoor space can be used to encourage biodiversity and protect local wildlife.
A new cycle path will improve links to the city centre and surrounding neighbourhoods, and we intend to encompass our other sustainability pillars through further development.
