Join us for this special edition of our Planetarium Lates as part of Glasgow Science Festival 2025. We'll be teaming up with the Institute for Gravitational Research at the University of Glasgow to celebrate our city's role in some of the most groundbreaking astronomical discoveries in recent years.
We'll take in the night sky above Glasgow, before finding out from scientists themselves how they are developing and using cutting-edge technology to give us new ways to explore the universe.
You'll also get a chance to chat to scientists and engineers from the Institute for Gravitational Research, and take part in some exciting hands-on activities.

When is this on?

About the Planetarium

The Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre has been upgraded to a spectacular, state-of-the-art, fulldome digital projection system (what a mouthful!). Our shows are live presenter-led or film based to take you on a journey through the solar system, into the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond, offering a truly out-of-this-world experience. Our spectacular full dome films display 360 degrees across the 15-metre hemispherical dome of the planetarium. It really is spellbinding stuff.
