Weird Water
Drop into the Design Studio on Floor 2 from October to December this year for the first in a series of exciting new workshops exploring engineering in our everyday lives.
Take part in hands-on challenges to find out how insects ‘walk on water’, why water forms beads on leaves, and how soap can change the way that water behaves. Meet experts from Glasgow University School of Engineering and National Manufacturing Institute Scotland to find out how researchers use the weird behaviour of water in medicine, material science, and many more surprising ways!
This short, drop-in activity is included in your day ticket. It will run from 11:00 to 15:00 on weekends and local school holidays only between 7th October and 31st December 2023.
