GALLANT

Who are GALLANT?

Our Community team have partnered with our friends at the University of Glasgow and the research programme, GALLANT

GALLANT stands for "Glasgow as a Living Lab Accelerating Novel Transformation" and is funded by UKRI NERC. The researchers want to help the city of Glasgow become better at handling problems caused by climate change whilst also making sure everyone is healthy, happy, and fairly treated.

Glasgow Science Centre has developed a programme of family-based learning which explores the work the GALLANT team are doing across the city. Our programme includes all sorts of exciting educational activities including making wormeries, going for family adventure walks and building wind turbines. Click on "The Roots Project" below to find out more.
